    Economists at the Federal Reserve Board conduct innovative research on a broad range of topics in economics and finance.     Bloomberg terminals are located at Haslam Business Building. The access to these terminals are restricted for Haslam Business College.

  • SEC EDGAR

    EDGAR, the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system, performs automated collection, validation, indexing, acceptance, and forwarding of submissions by companies and others who are required by law to file forms with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

  • Factiva

    A collection of thousands of full-text magazines and newspapers plus corporate and stock market data.

Some other M&A databases are not on this list.  Those are acquired by Haslam Business and are restricted to their faculty and PhD programs.​

  • Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) is an Internet-based data service from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. WRDS provides a simple, powerful web data interface for a variety of financial research applications, plus technical support to programming in SAS, FORTRAN, or C.   Financial support for WRDS is jointly provided by UT Knoxville's College of Business Administration and the University Libraries.

  • WRDS access is limited to faculty and graduate student researchers at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  For further information about access to WRDS at UT, contact Dr. Charles H.
